The gospel harvest is very great in Africa and India. Thousands of people are coming to Christ each day. The pastors and evangelists do not have much money and usually lack solid theological training. Many pastors and evangelists from these and other places in the world have been asking for help. They ask for books and gospel materials. God has graciously enabled me to provide free gospel tracts and literature. I also send copies of my books to pastors and evangelists in hope that they will be of some help. Many of these pastors have asked me  to come to their respective countries to teach evangelism seminars to leaders in their area.

In February of this year (2010), my sending church, Grace Evangelical Fellowship, indicated that I should begin preparations to go to these foreign places in order to equip the leaders to do the work of evangelism in accordance with the biblical pattern. God has providentially led me to other Christians that have relatives in these countries and some Christians who visit these countries to train pastors and Christian educators. Much planning must still take place and of course, God will have to provide the financial resources to enable me to go. Travel and living expenses required both for me and to provide for my family that remains here will likely be over $8000 for each trip. I envision each trip to last between three and six weeks. All funding for these trips will be provided as God puts it upon the heart of His people to give spontaneously.

On the first trip, besides putting on evangelism seminars and doing some evangelism, I have a secondary goal to learn more about the work God has for me to do there and to learn and be encouraged by the Christians I meet. I envision other trips will follow as God confirms and shapens His direction for me. At this point though, I envision the work will initially be done through periodic visits to these places.
